Terms of Use

Effective date:

Please read carefully.

Lucid is a self-custody tool. You approve every transaction and you are responsible for it. Crypto assets, and especially newly launched tokens, are extremely risky, and you can lose everything you put in. Nothing in Lucid is financial advice.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Lucid browser extension, the Lucid API and lucid.top (together, "Lucid", "we", "us"). By installing or using Lucid you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lucid.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use Lucid if:

  • you are subject to sanctions, or located in a sanctioned country or region; or
  • using crypto assets or services like Lucid is illegal where you live.

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax laws.

2. What Lucid is

Lucid is software that adds trading and token-launch tools to x.com and gives you an embedded wallet.

  • Non-custodial. Your wallets are created and secured by Turnkey, a third-party key-management provider. Lucid never holds your private keys and cannot move your funds without your approval.
  • You sign every transaction. Lucid prepares transactions and shows a review. A transaction is sent only after you confirm it. "One-click buy" counts as your confirmation for the amount shown on the button, and you can turn it off in Settings.
  • Not a broker, exchange or adviser. Lucid does not execute trades on your behalf, hold assets for you or provide investment, legal or tax advice. Swaps are routed through third-party protocols and services such as Jupiter, 0x, PumpPortal and pump.fun.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for your email and X accounts, the devices and browsers you use, and all activity under your Lucid account. Lost access to your sign-in method may mean lost access to your wallet. If you suspect unauthorized access, revoke your sessions immediately and contact us.

4. Risks you accept

  • Volatility. Token prices can move sharply, and many tokens, especially memecoins, lose most or all of their value.
  • Scams and malicious tokens. Tokens may have hidden fees, transfer restrictions, mint or freeze authorities, or be outright scams. Lucid's risk flags are informational and may be incomplete or wrong.
  • Execution. Prices change between quote and execution. Trades can fail, revert or be delayed, and slippage can apply. Network fees are not refundable, even for failed transactions.
  • Automation. Take-profit, stop-loss and alerts depend on your browser, price data and third-party services. They may not trigger, or may trigger at a different price than expected.
  • Data. Prices, market caps, P&L figures and charts come from third parties or are estimates, and may be delayed or inaccurate.
  • Technology. Blockchains, wallets, smart contracts and the services Lucid depends on can have bugs, outages or be attacked.
  • Regulation. Laws about crypto assets may change and may affect your ability to use Lucid.

5. Fees

You pay network (gas) fees and any fees charged by third-party providers, such as PumpPortal's fee on certain token launches. Applicable fees are shown in the review before you confirm. If Lucid introduces its own fees, we will show them clearly before any transaction they apply to.

6. AI features

Lucid can analyze posts on X and suggest token names, tickers, descriptions and images. These suggestions are generated automatically, may be inaccurate or inappropriate, and are not recommendations to buy, sell or launch anything. You decide whether to use them and you are responsible for the result.

7. Launching tokens

If you create a token with Lucid, you are the creator and are solely responsible for it. You agree that you will not:

  • impersonate any person, brand or organization, or imply endorsement that does not exist;
  • use names, logos, images or other content you don't have the right to use, or infringe trademarks, copyrights or privacy rights;
  • create tokens intended to mislead, defraud or manipulate others, or publish hateful, illegal or sexual content involving minors.

Token metadata and images are uploaded to IPFS and recorded on-chain. They are public and permanent, and we cannot remove them.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to use Lucid to:

  • break the law or launder money;
  • manipulate markets (for example wash trading, pump-and-dump schemes or spoofing);
  • attack, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the security or rate limits of Lucid or its providers;
  • access other people's accounts;
  • use Lucid in a way that violates X's terms or the Chrome Web Store policies.

9. Third-party services

Lucid relies on third-party services, including Turnkey, blockchain networks and RPC providers, Jupiter, 0x, PumpPortal, pump.fun, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, AI providers, IPFS and Telegram. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or actions. Links to external sites (such as GMGN, Axiom, Terminal or Fomo) are provided for convenience.

Lucid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. or any of the sites listed above.

10. Intellectual property

Lucid's software, name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of content you create, and you are responsible for it.

11. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Lucid at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for others. You can stop using Lucid at any time. Your wallet remains accessible through Turnkey, subject to its terms, even if your Lucid account is closed.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Lucid is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Nor will we be liable for any loss of funds, tokens, profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, Lucid. Our total liability for any claim relating to Lucid will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from your use of Lucid, the tokens you create, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Istanbul have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you other rights.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the extension. If you keep using Lucid after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
